An Awful Living Experience Resident on 10th Floor

3 months ago I submitted a pet application that I m still getting the run around over Every time I ve voiced a concern or had a question I ve been treated with exceptional disrespect by multiple people within management We are a young interracial couple and I truly believe that management is both sexist and racist They are the epitome of unprofessional Along with others who have left their reviews I ve also experienced unrealistic fines with no evidence jamming garage doors flooding and poor overall maintenance Not to mention items from my boyfriends car were stolen in what is supposed to be a heavily secured parking garage management said someone broke in Every time you leave your unit you have to worry about a fine I ve heard horror stories from talking with other residents in the building I wouldn't recommend living under the reign of this awful property management company You will never feel at home

Management is Irresponsible

You are only allowed to use your visitor parking pass for 4 days out of the month We received a letter dated the 2nd day of the month that we had overused our parking pass for that month and were being fined 500 Perhaps I m wrong but it's physically impossible to use something for 4 days when it's only 2 days into the month Management is careless and irresponsible and never had the decency to address this obvious error with us They just ignored us and now we are left to second guess the validity of anything that comes out of their mouths I wish I could attach a copy of the letter so everyone can see what scam artists they are I urge perspective buyers and tenants to look elsewhere I wish I had

never any hot water

hot water shut off notices have been posted 4 times in the past 30 days dumb dumb dumb elevator was out of service as well and for months the key fob entry thing in the entrance has been emitting a piercing non stop noise there is no real maintence management doesnt care

I Take My Good Review Back

For the past week only 1 or 2 elevators out of 4 have been working It's been proven faster to take the stairs when I m leaving for work Next the FOB used to get into the building is a cheap piece of plastic and has broken off of both mine and my boyfriend's keyrings The FOB is melted around the hole for your keyring This tells me that we are definitely not the first ones this has happened to Upon contacting management I was told that I have to pay out of my pocket TWENTY DOLLARS to fix something that isn't through an error of my own or ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for a new FOB Ridiculous Since we have moved in my neighbour's dog barked day and night non stop I had contacted two different people more than once to try to have this resolved Finally I had to contact Bylaw and haven't heard a peep since It disappoints me that as a paying resident of this building the Condo Board can't even be bothered to send them an email or a letter I know this because the neighbour notified me that they were NEVER contacted by management It disappoints me that I have to call Bylaw because of a barking dog I ve never been so disgusted at management in my life I could go on but I feel as though I ve made my point All in all I urge prospective tenants and buyers to stay away from this building Do not let it's great location and cheap prices blind you The honeymoon is over once you move in

Management is a Nightmare

Management is a nightmare The only thing they did right is hired a wonderful security officer and housekeeping lady Perhaps they could learn a thing or two on how to treat people and have a professional attitude Spend the extra couple hundred and move into a building that isn't managed by a complete jackwagon

worst management

Expect to be hit with a 250 fine for using your visitor parking pass What a joke Terry building manager is miserable and will fine you for everything but don't expect him to ever take any action when you have an issue that needs to be resolved It's pretty sad that he's so miserable in his own life that he tries to make everyone else's miserable as well My best advice stay far far away from this building and First Service Residential

VERY POOR MAINTENANCE

This building despite it's good location thanks to the Coop has TERRIBLE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT 1 The Garage door breaks quiet often so be prepare get stuck in the parking lot for over 1 hours waiting to be able to get out of your own place OR be prepared to PAY for a cab and NOT get reimburse 2 The after hours number conveniently did not work 3 Waking up and finding that there is NO water and not knowing why You wonder why email exists if you can't even get a notice or a report and have to find out what is wrong with this place thanks to your neighbors in the elevator 4 People apartment got flooded 5 Knowing that this is only your second month and that according to your neighbors this happens every month

Amazing

I moved into this building from renting a basement suite in Kincora To the people complaining about noise try living in a poorly insulated soundproofed basement suite under two undisciplined kids This condo is DOWNTOWN Of course there is noise Noise from traffic noise from people sirens trains car alarms etc This is so typical of downtown lifestyle that it actually floors me that people are complaining about this As for noise from the nightclub down the street I ve never heard it or been bothered by it Some features that I love about this condo is on site security the co op that is literally a stones throw away and the fact that you need a key fob to get anywhere in the building As a young woman who enjoys my privacy and a sense of security I couldn't be happier about the strict rules enforced by the condo board such as the 500 fine for opening one of the entrance doors for a stranger This is an adult building so you never hear any screaming or crying kids which I personally enjoy It amazes me that people find every small thing possible to complain I appreciate the fact that there is consistent maintenance to the building I would much rather have water shut off for 3 hours than come home to my unit flooded Don't like the condo boards regulations Move to a different building Don't like the way repairs are handled Buy yourself a house Don't like the noise Move out to the country Problems solved

Good Building

I think the unit is great its cheaper than other downtown condos I guess you pay for it when you deal with condo management but other than that its good value My layout is much better than most other condos I looked at downtown and the location is very good People who complain about this building seem to me have never lived in a downtown core before noise is a fact of life so get over it And the coop is awesome so great to be next to it

Don't buy here

You don't want to live here rent or buy The building has so many problems and it is really poorly built If you look in the back of the closets etc you will notice huge gaps between the floor tiles and the back of the wall Also there are constantly leaking problems from the units above you because the building is so poorly designed and built The condo management is even worst
