When we moved in they were doing renovations so I thought we were getting in at a good time Turns out the renovations are just a company tiling over existing tile and painting over existing paint So now you can see the old tiles behind the new and you can see the nasty red and green paint behind the new This is an example of the property management's Transglobe's effort in this building We live on a high floor and have seen dead mice in the hallway in front of our apartment cockroaches climbing up the wall in front of our apartment If you go to the basement to do laundry there are cockroaches all over the place In the summer when the elevator doors open you can see the roaches scatter in the basement The elevators are the worst part They rarely work together I think the longest I ve seen them working together is MAYBE a week But they're often down at the same time Its an eleven story building and we have two elevators 90 of the time only one is working I ve had to walk up the stairs with groceries and laundry on several occasions Transglobe's answer to this is We're looking into how much it will cost to fix them versus replacing them I ve been hearing this for two years The worst part is now they're advertising 2 bedrooms for 1200 DO NOT PAY THAT MUCH TO LIVE HERE All I can say is STAY AWAY Just search transglobe on google or facebook and you'll see what I m talking about The consensus is the same across the Country
