I rented a unit in this Brooklyn building up until a few weeks ago The landlord is hands off the super is virtually useless and non responsive While this would just make the time uncomfortable the building seems to be made of duct tape paper mache and spit The walls are paper thin and the building is rife with things breaking down as well as fire code violations Moreover apparently the landlords have not paid the power bill in months for the central areas of the building as the tenants have been getting letters saying the common power will be shut off If you're paying a premium over other places in the area you expect a higher quality These landlords are not providing it Now I am happily living somewhere else in the neighborhood that is bigger more well built and cheaper
